Call for Applications "External Evaluation"

We are happy to announce the current Call for Applications on “External Evaluation of Community of Practice on Partnership in the ESF”.

In order to assess the effectiveness and relevance of "COP on Partnership in the ESF", the COP Steering Group like to undertake an external evaluation. The tender application procedure will be operationalized by the ZSI - Centre for Social Innovation on behalf of the BMASK - Austrian Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection.

The evaluation expert should posses specific professional experiences such as:

  • Expertise in partnerships or relevant corporate structures (e.g. in the area of partnerships and governance in the EU and abroad)
  • Experience in analysing/evaluation of programmes in labour market policy (employment partnerships)
  • Knowledge of the European Structural Funds (especially European Social Fund), EU-Programmes (e.g. Community Initiative EQUAL)
  • The deadline for submission is 30 August 2010.

Our network ‘Community of Practice on Partnership in the ESF’ was presented as one of 21 selected projects at the Networking Session: Local Initiatives for Skills, Jobs, Social Inclusion and Economic Development. The session was held in the frame of the 6th Annual Meeting of the OECD LEED Forum on Partnerships and Local Governance in Vienna, Austria on 17 February 2010.

Minutes of the coordination meeting of the four "learning for change" networks (Brussels, Belgium)

The flash minutes as well as the presentations of the first coordination meeting of the four "learning for change" networks are attached. The meeting was organised by DG Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, Unit B4/ Innovation, EGF in Brussels, Belgium on 7 May 2009.

Four "learning for change" approved for funding by the European Commission until June 2009:

  • Network for the reintegration of ex-offenders;
  • Network on Partnership in the ESF;
  • Network on Migrants and Ethnic Minorities;
  • Network on Inclusive Entrepreneurship.

On 9-10 February 2009, the 5th Annual Meeting of the OECD LEED Forum on Partnerships and Local Governance took place in Vienna. "Building Strong Partnerships with the Private Sector for Better Jobs and Inclusion" was the topic of the conference, attracting more than 150 participants from 30 different countries (from all continents with the exception of Africa).
